The broad general review of the various disease categories, with clinical characteristics, diagnostic criteria, histopathological changes, immunological aspects and finally treatment, is comprehensive and academically well informed. This book should be in every office! Journal of the Norwegian Medical Association This is an excellent tool for nephrologists and rheumatologists. The masterful organization will also attract internists and those interested in the care of patients with autoimmune disorders affecting the kidney. It provides an easily accessible reference on specific topics in autoimmune diseases affecting the kidney. This is an excellent resource. Great book, well done !

It is written by experts from places like Johns Hopkins. It is also an international effort with authors from USA, UK, and other countries.
It contains some basic science. But it is mostly clinically oriented. It is not too detailed to bore a busy clinician, but gives enough information, providing nice summaries of the current understanding of these diseases.
The book is very well edited. Each chapter contains a summary of key points and provides a list of references, with key references highlighted.

Great read. Some of the topics are better covered than Kelly's Textbook of Rheumatology.
